Summer Pics...

I'm horrible at keeping up with this little blog, but here are some pics of our summer thus far, starting from the most recent. :) Jess and Erin promise me that being a mommy of 3 will get easier once Logan is 6 months...let's hope so and maybe I'll be better at staying current!

Our recent trip to the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Daddy came and met us for lunch!

A fun weekend in Vail!

Backyard Fun

Dancing in the backyard.

My goof ball in a bikini.

Our friends the Blighs out for a visit from Oregon. We finally got to meet their newest addition, Taylor Michelle!

The kids' first trip to Fargo's Pizza, a Colorado Springs monument.
Me and Logan, exhausted after a long day, ready for Fargo's!

Asleep as usual...

A visit with Santa in June. Never too early to start thinking about your Christmas list!
We took a little tour around Manitou to see a few sights near where I grew up...

My home as a kid.
Not exactly a bad place to grow up!
A great shot from the Garden of the Gods.
Logan at the park at my elementary school. He's finally awake!!
Dave showing Ryan how to pee standing up. Carly started to pull her pants down to try too!
The following pics from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I hadn't been there since I was a kids, and boy had things changed! This place was amazing! Nana (my mom) came along and was a big help. Hopefully we'll make it there again before the summer is over.
Logan could hardly contain his enthusiasm to be at the world's only mountain zoo!

Father's Day photo shoot

My friend and neighbor, Mindy Helmer, too these AMAZING pictures of the kids (and me) for Father's Day. I think my kids are adorable already, but she managed to make them even cuter! If you want to contact her, call at 303/718-8308 or email at tmhelmer1@yahoo.com.

Ah choo!

She managed to catch Logan's first and so far only smile!

Logan David

Sorry this is just a blog of pictures. I'm still trying to "come out of the fog" as some friends would say, but stay on top of everything too. Someone recently said to Dave that I must be Wonder Woman (don't know about that), and he replied, "we need her to be!" Enough said...

Loving the epidural.
Just out!
6 pounds, 5 ounces

Daddy's wedding band on his toe.

Tears of joy!

Snug as a bug!

He loves to suck!

Proud papa!

He passed his first test (hearing) with flying colors!

4 of the 5 of us. Ingnore my belly.

Proud brother!

Somewhat proud sister...

Time to go home!

34 Weeks

I have so many pictures to get through from Carly's 3rd birthday, so until then, here's a belly updated shot.

29 Weeks

I'm currently 34 weeks, so a little behind, but here's the last pic Dave took. Hopefully I'll have more from tomorrow, 3/29/09, as my little pink bundle will be turning 3!!

February and March 2009

I can't believe I haven't blogged in so long! I'll let the pictures speak for what we've been up to...
Ryan and "Baby Dog".

Carly's naptime attire.

Always ready for the camera...

Ryan and his preschool-made Dr. Suess hat.

Yep, that's our boy!

Carly came home with her hair like this after Dave and I spent a night away. Our friends who watched them, the Burmeisters, seem to have a home like Disneyland, the happiest place on earth.

Okay, some of you make think this is gross or weird, but my kids thought it was hilarious. I did the eyes, hair and mouth, and Ryan finished it off with the "arms" and "legs".

A big hug from daddy.

Playing around before church.

Me and my babies.

Me and my sweet girl decked out for church and a birthday party that followed.

Sometimes I think she kisses me just so she can get a little of my lipstick on her own lips.

Ryan and good buddy Thomas. After telling him that his great-grandfather's name was also Thomas, he said, "Mommy, there are 2 Thomas' in this world?!"

Fooling around with Daddy.

Wildlife Experience

We recenly joined the Wildlife Experience and have now gone twice. The kids seem to be entertained for a good hour or so, and I love that it's so educational. It's only about 7 minutes from our house, and I thought that on hot days during the summer when we'd typically hit the pool, this would be a good alternative since we'll soon have a newborn. The only problem is that I'm a huge IMAX fan and Carly is scared to death of the big screen. Ryan and I will have to work out a deal with her so he and I can watch bugs and elephants up close. Here are a few shots from our visit today:

Carly asked me to thank God for this pig costume tonight during prayers.

My goofy kids standing under a moose. Don't worry, Carly's reaching for the head, not the other end of the thing.
